In short: the numbers and dates you type into our tools are worked out in your own browser. They are never sent to us or anyone else, and we don't store them.
Every calculator on Plain Math Tools runs entirely in your web browser. Your salary, bill amounts, dates and other figures are never sent to our server or to any other company, and we never see them. When you close the page, they're gone.
If you use the light/dark switch, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
We don't use cookies.
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and basic browser details. Google describes how it handles this in its Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
Like nearly every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs: your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of each visit. These are used to keep the site secure and running, and aren't used to identify you.
Plain Math Tools is a general-audience site and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we change how the site handles information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
